About me
When I was a kid I wanted to be a volcanologist.
Then I wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Then after idolising Björk, Zappa and Igor Stravinsky for a bit, I realised I needed to do something of my own; so I started making records.

Now, here I am:
I’m Nathan;
I like to make things sound exciting and unusual. I like to facilitate people’s odd ideas about music and art into the world. I produce records, write and perform music and I make people sound good at gigs. I like reading Tape Op and I think everything is a microphone if you try hard enough.
I am mostly based in London but I have also been working from my studio, Studio Théoulas in Britanny since 2020, year of its founding (www.studio-theoulas.fr).
Also, I am the official -if coincidental- voice for the Beijing Olympic Site audioguide (in French).
